Description
This specific muzzle device was designed for use with the M249 SAW to allow bayonet attachment. This device features an appropriately sized bore ID to accommodate both of the M249 blank firing adapters. These devices were specifically designed for use with Griffin’s 556MG AM military suppressor, but is compatible with all DUAL-LOK® mounts given there is adequate blast chamber clearance for the 2.35″ OAL of this device. If you are not purchasing this device to install on a machine gun, we recommend purchasing the normal DUAL-LOK® Closed Tine Bayonet Flash Hider which has a more optimized bore ID.
The DUAL-LOK® Bayonet Closed Tine Flash Hider was designed for a military service branch. It provides enhanced flash suppression and rise compensation performance vs A2 compensators, especially on short barrels. The closed tines will not snag on thick vegetation. CNC machined from a solid bar of heat treated 17-4ph stainless steel, the DUAL-LOK® Closed Tine Flash Suppressor is built to last.
The BFA Groove allows attachment of a bayonet or BFA when a suppressor is not in use. The 1/2×28 device is directional and ships with shims for timing. The 9/16x24LH version is omnidirectional and does not require timing.
