Government Products Warranty

Warranty of Supplies of a Noncomplex Nature – Product Warranty for Government Procurements Only  

1. Coverage / Extent of Obligations Griffin Armament (“Griffin”) warrants that firearms and suppressor products manufactured by Griffin Armament shall be free from defects in materials and workmanship and shall conform to applicable specifications for a period of one (1) year from the date of delivery of shipment (the “Warranty Period”).

This warranty covers only defects discovered during the Warranty Period. It does not cover damage caused by the purchaser, end user, or any third party, including damage resulting from improper use, handling, installation, or maintenance.

Griffin’s obligations under this warranty are limited to defects in material and workmanship or failure to conform to published specifications. This warranty does not extend to the usefulness or adequacy of the design itself beyond conformance to those specifications.

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, ALL IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY AND FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE ARE HEREBY DISCLAIMED AND EXCLUDED.

This warranty applies to the original purchaser and is transferable to subsequent lawful owners of the product for the remainder of the Warranty Period.

2. Scope of Warranty This warranty covers defects in materials and workmanship in Griffin Armament firearms and suppressor products under normal use and in accordance with the product’s published specifications. This includes applicable barrel length and caliber limitations for suppressors, and caliber limitations for firearms, as listed in the product manual or on the current product page (applicable only to the most current model of the respective product).

In all cases, the product manual and published specifications govern limitations of use. Users must refer to the product manual prior to use.

3. Remedies If a covered defect is confirmed by Griffin during the Warranty Period, Griffin will, at its sole option and at no charge to the owner (except as noted in Section 5), either:

• repair the defective product, or
• replace the defective product (or the affected component) with a new or factory-reconditioned unit of the same or equivalent model.

Griffin’s obligation to repair or replace includes responsibility for the costs of furnishing labor and material necessary to accomplish the required repair or replacement, and to test, inspect, package, and mark the repaired or replaced item as applicable.

Unless otherwise agreed in writing, Griffin’s obligation to repair or replace includes transportation costs for return of the defective item from the original place of delivery to Griffin’s facility and subsequent return of the repaired or replacement item. Griffin’s liability for transportation charges from locations other than the original place of delivery shall not exceed the cost of transportation by the usual commercial method of shipment between the original place of delivery and Griffin’s facility and subsequent return.

The remedies stated in this Section 3 are the exclusive remedies available under this warranty.

4. Exclusions – What Is Not Covered This warranty does not cover:

• Loss or theft
• Normal wear and tear
• Finish wear or cosmetic changes (finish is considered cosmetic and is not covered)
• Damage to the Griffin product or to the host weapon system resulting in whole or in part from: – abusive or negligent use – unauthorized or improper modification – improperly threaded barrels – improperly mounted suppressors – use of improperly loaded or reloaded ammunition – neglect
• Damage caused to any other manufacturer’s products used in conjunction with Griffin Armament products
• Any other use outside the product’s published specifications or limitations
• Damage caused by the purchaser, end user, or any third party

5. Non-Covered Repairs Any repairs made necessary by the exclusions listed in Section 4 will be performed only after authorization and will be invoiced to the owner as repair costs.

6. Notice of Defects The owner must provide written notice to Griffin of any claimed defect within thirty (30) days after discovery of the defect and within the Warranty Period. Failure to provide timely notice may result in denial of the warranty claim. Notice shall be sent to the contact method listed in Section 8 (or the then-current contact information on griffinarmament.com).

7. Limitation of Liability Griffin Armament is not responsible for, and this warranty does not cover, any incidental, consequential, special, or indirect damages, including but not limited to damage to other property, lost profits, or personal injury arising from the use or inability to use the product, to the fullest extent permitted by law.

Some states do not allow the exclusion or limitation of incidental or consequential damages, so the above limitation may not apply to you.

8. How to Obtain Warranty Service / Markings Products are marked or accompanied by notice of the existence of this warranty, its duration, and the method for reporting defects, consistent with Griffin’s standard commercial practices.

To obtain warranty service, contact Griffin Armament customer service (CS@griffinarmament.com or the current contact method listed on griffinarmament.com) to obtain a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) before returning any product. Products returned without an RMA may be refused.
