Description

The Griffin Armament Taper Mount Closed Tine Flash Hider interfaces with Taper mount suppressors (Recce 5, Recce 7, ET2, ET3, Paladin5, Paladin 7, Bushwhacker .36, Bushwhacker .46, Optimus, Plan A Plan A L/XL, as well as the Taper Mount Blast Shield.

The Taper Mount Closed Tine Flash Hider provides enhanced flash suppression performance vs A2 compensators, especially on short barrels.  The closed tines will not snag on thick vegetation. A 3-position wire cutter was added to the front of the unit, to support breaching hasp locks and wire obstacles as well as the clearing of urban concrete loopholes (clearing rebar after using a sledgehammer).  CNC machined from a solid bar of heat treated 17-4ph stainless steel, the Taper Mount Closed Tine Flash Suppressor is built to last.

4 reviews for Taper Mount Closed Tine Flash Hider

  1. Steve

Arrived today and already asked to review. Finish appears excellent. Threads were smooth. Attached to 2 differerent barrels w/o issue. Actual build purchased for has not been begun so no test firing has occurred.

  2. William Nantz

Looks and works great, but I had to go with 4 stars because of the length… were it made just 0.2″ longer, it could be pin & welded on 14.5 barrels. Maybe a gen 2? But it IS a quality piece.

  3. JM

I order both 1/2 and 5/8, they arrived today and installed easy with the shim kits and a torque wrench. Appearance is high-end. I’d like to try them out but the ATF still has my suppressor in jail (330 days). The positive is over the last year I have incrementally been purchasing items to attach the can with to numerous hosts.

  4. William Yockell

Great item that provides a traditional closed end flash hider appearance. Additional benefit of dust/debris signature mitigation by having a closed bottom slot. Timed and aligned perfectly. Quality product and fully satisfied.
