Description

The Recce 5K AM Silencer is a highly durable .22cal (5.56mm) suppressor constructed from Griffin’s proprietary Nickel 625X™ powder alloy utilizing state-of-the-art DMLS additive manufacturing technology. This manufacturing process yields a solid core, resulting in unparalleled strength while maintaining warranty serviceability.

Recce® Silencers utilize the backwards-compatible Taper Mount-RI Mounting System, a highly accurate and simple system that vastly improves suppressor retention over direct thread options. A Taper Mount EZ-Brake™ (1/2×28 – .22cal) is included with the Recce 5K AM making it ready for use right out of the box with no device timing required. The integrated Flash Hider End Cap is Griffin’s highest performing end cap yet, working in conjunction with the printed core to reduce flash to an absolute first round minimum and virtually eliminate it for subsequent shots.

The proprietary Nickel 625X™ alloy showed in testing a ~40% increase in yield and tensile strength over INCONEL 625, a commonly used suppressor alloy. The completely redesigned flash hider end cap reduces system backpressure by venting gases ahead of the projectile, resulting in softer recoil impulses, less wear and tear on the host firearm, and reduces operator exposure to toxic gases.

• RECCE® Suppressors do not have minimum barrel length restrictions or constraints for rifle calibers. While longer barrels promote longer service life, there are no barrel length restrictions with this suppressor!
