I mean, it’s the UIC from the original designer without the ‘designer’ price gouging. I ordered two of these and they both mated up PERFECT with two BCM uppers. Zero play or wobble, and the Ambi bolt release requires the least amount of effort of all Ambi lowers I’ve tried so far.
You’d better believe that probably all of my rifles will be getting this lower in the future.

The lower was exactly what i was looking for and is my recommendation to anyone who’s looking for an ambi lower. Has everything you need the ambi mag release is protected, yet still functional. Ambi bolt release is easily accessible. The lockup with my uppers is solid, no wobble. All around great product, really happy with it.
Prefer this lower receiver over my Radian ADAC lower too. The finish on the radian is better, but I prefer the controls and lesser weight of the griffin lower.
A minor addition I would like to ask for, is for griffin to include the mag release button just so it matches the rest of the controls, its minor but im a little OCD.

I’ve got two of these lowers now, on a 14.5″ and 12.5″, and I absolutely love them. I paired them both with a driver arms flared magwell and grip and it feels like money. Manipulation of the safety and ambi mag release is super easy at odd angles with this combo for smaller hands.
