This is my new favorite lower. I’m a lefty, so having a built in ambidextrous magazine release is awesome. I have built on a CMT Tactical ambidextrous lower, and thought it’s a good lower, this MK-2 is better. The ambidextrous bolt release is better, the flared magwell is nice, and it comes with the bolt catch installed.

Pretty impressed overall. It’s basically an ADM lower (to the point that I like was either licensed from ADM or possibly made by ADM). Flared mag well is great and the ambi controls are well placed without feeling in the way. I really like the sleek lines and overall, the fit and finish is great. Very clean with no overly obvious machine marks and the finish reminds me of a military phosphate more so than the more glossy finishes we see more often now. All my LPK parts went in without issue and no spec issues. Great lower and worth the buy.

I own LMT and ADM, with that being said, this lower is quality. From the machining to the finish there was not a flaw. I would put it up against either of the other two any day. The only, however small, complaint is the spring tension on the ambi mag release. It’s tight. I’m sure after several hundred rounds and mag changes, it will break-in just fine. 10 out 10 I would recommend. Only wished I had bought more during Black Friday sale.

Everything is in spec, one small burr in the pivot pin spring hole, but otherwise excellent shape. Anodizing matches well with my BCM and HK uppers. The lift type bolt release works much better for me, the travel required is more than the HK but it does seem smoother and easier to engage and disengage. I have about 600 rounds through it with most of it suppressed. Plenty of carbon and junk in the bolt release system and no issues with operation or ease of use yet. It has an M16 internal cutout, and is marked auto, so if you are lucky enough to have a DIAS you should be in business. The ambi mag release is pretty low profile. It has to be pushed pretty much completely flush with the lower to release it. It could be a clearance issue with my mag release, but both I tried were the same. With that said, I wasn’t able to hit it on a magazine or anything on my carrier and release it like others I have had would, so it may very well be by design. It does have a decent fence around the left hand mag release so it is well protected. The magwell is flared quite a bit and easy to find under pressure. Wish the trigger guard was milspec but I get that pretty much everyone has gone to integrated guards now. This is forged so that was a big plus compared to many others that are billet. Overall, I don’t know of any ambi lower I would take over this that is remotely close to this price point.

I grabbed this for a HK416 upper, wanting ambi controls, but wanting a more traditional look to mate up with the pedastrian-esque looks of the upper.
Well, it delivered… Kinda.
It’s design is rather understated, but it’s finished so flawlessly and well that it outshines the salty HK upper.
The controls aside, I really like the trigger guard, specifically the straight portion to the rear, as it allows the shelf on the BCM pistol grip I’d decided on using.
One thing I’d like to see is the use of pictograms instead of Safe, Semi, and Auto markings, but that’s the smallest of nits to pick.
Overall, fantastic lower, for a fantastic price!

This is my first full ambi lower. The milspec fit and finish matched up with my Daniels Defense upper perfectly. There was no play at all.
Right side bolt catch and release lever works great. It is very similar to the Sig Mcx Spear Lt.
Left side mag release is in a good position and it works great. Does not come with a mag catch assembly.
Integrated trigger gaurd is large very nice for glove use.

This lower is the best fully ambidextrous lower money can buy. Fit and finish are excellent. The gryphon roll mark is very slick. Wish they featured it on the Mk. 1… (maybe?). Ambi controls are very ergonomic. I think I prefer them to the MARS-L/H. Price point is unbeatable, which I almost can’t understand because they make them to order if you buy from them. Oh, and M16 pocket cut is neat.
If you’re in the market for an ar-15 lower, this is the one you want.

i signed up using the DI program I will be using the program and installing a GP% on this build. I will be using a LaRue 12 inch barrel. to make this a true 16 inch suppressed. This quality, build, ambi details is mind blowing. i am comparing this to my LaRue , and this is beatng it hands down.
