Description
The EXPLORR® Utility Mount (HUB) Blast Shield was designed to offer significant concussion reduction for the shooter and other team members operating in the immediate vicinity. This blast shield is styled like our EXPLORR® Utility Mount suppressors, and features the same industry-standard 1.375×24 (HUB) rear mounting interface. This allows compatibility with any of Griffin’s 1.375×24 HUB Mount Adapters (sold separately), as well as other manufacturers interfaces with the same HUB threading.
Especially effective on shorter barrels, the Utility Mount Blast Shield directs concussive force forward limiting concussive effects on the shooter and nearby team members. Griffin blast shields are made from ultra-strong 17-4 H900 heat-treated stainless steel, and are laser-welded for peak durability. The high-strength melonite QPQ surface treatment prevents scratches and dings.
Compatible with projectiles up to 9mm. 1.375×24 HUB Mount Interface and Muzzle Devices sold separately.

I live in CA, but spent four years in the infantry and when I saw Griffin made a HUB-compatible blastb shield I had to get one. This thing is the best I can get in CA, and I love it for what it is. Gotta move soon…
