Griffin Armament is proud to introduce DUAL-LOK®, our newest QD mounting system for rifle suppressors. The DUAL-LOK® system is comprised from two parts, the DUAL-LOK® Mount and the DUAL-LOK® muzzle device (of your choice). This page is for the DUAL-LOK® Titanium Minimalist Brake.
The muzzle device integrates 60 machined mounting position grooves, which is doubled by the mount’s two locking positions, hence the double entendre DUAL-LOK®. How is this achieved? The mounts’ two locking positions are machined out of phase of one another by 3 degrees which provides the 120 effective locking positions and ensures a tightly mounted and locked suppressor. When the suppressor is installed, only one of the two positions will generally function by allowing the spring to push the locking collar rearward over the splines.
Constructed of 6AL4V Titanium, the DUAL-LOK® Minimalist Brake (Ti) has a wear resistant baffle that increases suppressor service life. Additionally the brake features compensating ports that help reduce muzzle climb while assisting in reducing felt recoil. The DUAL-LOK® (Ti) Minimalist Brake weighs an air light 1.4 ounces and is less than an 1.5″ long, adding minimal weight and length compared to that of most competing suppressor mounts. The Titanium Minimalist Brake reduces suppressor system weight while making the host firearm barrel lighter and more responsive to the shooter. Each brake comes with a shim set for timing. The device is finished in type 2 Tiodize, a dull grey, durable, anti-galling finish.
The 6.5mm option allows for optimal braking performance and sound performance with a suppressor on 6.5 grendel, 6.5 creedmoor, 260 remington, 6.5×47 Lapua etc.

Love Griffin’s titanium options. They are the lightest on the market. I have a dual lok can sitting at the dealer waiting on paperwork. Great job government! This thing only weighs one ounce. Putting it on my 11.5″ carbine to keep it light. Muzzle brake is great for keeping the blast baffle safe. shipping was fast, instructions are pretty detailed. Only took a minute to install. great machining work.
