Description
This package includes the Griffin AR-SOB buffer (Gen 2), Griffin AR-10 7075-T6 Maritime Receiver Extension, 17-7 AR-10 CAR wire spring, QD Contour Connect End Plate, and castle nut. All these parts will complete the back end of your lower receiver.
This kit is applicable to AR-10 pattern firearms in 7.62x51mm and similar calibers, and is compatible with Mil-Spec dimensioned butt-stocks. This kit should not be used in conjunction with a not included short “DPMS” style 308 buffer. This is a correct AR-10 Carbine length tube and uses the std CAR length buffer in conjunction with a correct AR-10 Carbine buffer spring.
Note: Griffin uses 17-4 Stainless Steel as material for our castle nuts. This is an incredibly strong allow, but should not be staked because it has the tendency to crack rather than dent like other alloys. We recommend using a thread sealant such as ST-3 to hold these castle nuts in place. We sell this in small quantities here.

Mounted on a complete Aero .308. The Griffin spring and tube are longer than original and weight is noticeably heavier. Everything in this kit reduced felt recoil.

Solid design and finally an end to my searching for that longer tube to get more back stroke on bolt. I ordered from two different companies before breaking down and coming to griffin. Ar10 aero build runs very good with and without can on after gas block was adjusted
