Griffin Armament 7075-T6 Maritime Receiver Extension. A six position, mil-spec dimensioned receiver extension featuring 7 ports to allow excess gas, water, oil, and debris to leave the operating system, reducing pressure and associated danger to both host firearm and shooter, while enhancing reliability. Mil-spec hardcoat anodized. 7075-T6 is twice as strong as 6061-T6. Don’t put a weak 6061 receiver extension of dubious origin in your defensive firearm. The life you save might be your own.
The longer pictured Maritime Receiver Extension is for use with AR10 systems. The shorter pictured Maritime Receiver Extension is for use with AR15 style systems. The Maritime Receiver Extension pictured without the channel cut around the detent holes is the Heavy Duty MRE for AR15 use only.

Excellent machining, length is perfect with the Griffin spring, buffer to slow my suppressed bolt down. Everything is so smooth with this system on a 300 blackout. Will be getting another for a second build.

Extremely tight tolerances. At first I was afraid I was cross threading castle nut but it’s just a super tight threading. Put on a suppressed rifle so the vent/drain holes are an essential. Excellent quality.
