These suppressor thread adapters allow you to convert AK-47 style 14x1mm LH and HK style 15x1mm RH threaded muzzles to receive 5/8x24 threaded accessories. These surplus rifle threads require a muzzle face index for perpendicularity, making them incompatible with muzzle devices that require timing.
The use of these adapters converts these threads to conventional threads with thread shoulders, allowing common muzzle devices to be mounted with timing shims. Provided 3/4" wrench flats permit proper installation torque to be achieved.

You can buy a suppressor threaded for 14x1 LH or you can use this adapter and take your pick. I dremel out a notch to capture the AK muzzle brake retention pin once indexed to the muzzle face and the adapter basically stays there whether running a 5/8x24 brake/flash hider or my 5/8x24 suppressor
It works great for me, no issues. I would HIGHLY recommend looking down the bore with a flashlight and your eye with the adapter and suppressor on before firing your setup.
I purchased an AK rifle and wanted to put a suppressor on it. What I found out is that the threads on AK barrels is a 14x1 metric left handed thread. You will struggle to find a muzzle device that will attach to your suppressor in that size. This adapter allowed me to make that happen by giving me a standard 5/8x24 thread on the end of the barrel and I did not have to have the barrel rethreaded. It worked great and now I am enjoying my AK without bothering those around me...

My gunsmith was genuinely stunned at how precisely this was machined. Even though my VEPR has bore-concentric threads, he has seen so many adapters of lesser quality throw things off he was expecting to need to chop and re-thread the barrel. Several adapters I tried would not align my Yugo 70AB for use with a suppressor. This one did! A must if you want to suppress an AK variant.
Great craftmanship
I was concerned how it would fit, but I found it fit perfectly to my Norinco made rifle allowing a proper fit to my Hybrid-46. Thanks for making this product and paying attention to detail.
I waited to review this until after use. Product arrived on time, as advertised, and packaged securely. I used it on a Yugoslavian M72 parts kit with a Green Mountain brand, US barrel, and a Silencerco Hybrid silencer. No issues, 4 stars because $60 is a lot for a small piece of metal- BUT.. It worked and I didn't have any hassle from it not being correct and testing customer service. Also... In the product purchase comments I asked for extra stickers and they did give me two sheets of stickers.
