Description
Griffin Taper Mounts interface with RECCE, Paladin®, EXPLORR®, Sportsman, and Bushwhacker® series silencers, as well as all pistol silencers (Revolution and Resistance series) when using the minimalist blast shield. The Minimalist series supports the Optimus® 9 Mid-Size configuration as well as Optimus micro with taper extension.
Constructed of 17-4 PH stainless steel, the Taper Mount Minimalist flash suppressor has 3 flash suppressing tines which have anti-reasonance features integrated. The Minimialist flash suppressor weighs 2.9 ounces , approximately 40% less than that of most competing flash suppressor mounts. The lighter weight reduces suppressor system weight while making the host firearm barrel lighter and more responsive to the shooter. The flash suppressor does not require timing. Taper Mount Thread Protector is compatible with this muzzle device for added protection of thread mounts.

I bought this muzzle device for my 300blk and 5.56 riffles. It makes so easy to swap the Optimus suppressor between guns. I haven’t tested it without the suppressor to see if it really has no twang, so I can’t verify that. Quality and build is superb, as to be expected from Griffin. I’ll be getting more in future.

I bought two of these now for my Bushwacker 46. They function as expected with the can, but also look and function excellent without. These will also qualify under Tactical Game Rules which make it a plus! Probably will end up buying more to suppress some hunting applications.

I have order 4 of these tapered mount muzzle devices sense I have found griffin armament. I appreciate what they bring to the table and the quality of there products. The reason I didn’t give it 5 stars is cause these muzzle devices do not come with shims, which I found odd specially for a suppressor mount. Just be sure to add some to your order.

I purchased this Flash Suppressor for my SIG SAUER MPX PISTOL . This Griffin Armament Flash Suppressor is very high quality. The fit and finnish is excellent.
I have other Griffin Armament Compensators and Flash Suppressors and would not purchase any other Brand. All of Griffin products are made in the USA and they are located in the state of Wisconsin. Love all of them so far…ive got 7 taper mounts and the various suppressor adapters to make all of mine versatile…only thing that has upset me is the shims that say they are included in the packages are never in the packages…NEVER…why say use included shims if they arent in there?!?!

I used this flash hider on my Draco 9s. The threaded barrel of the Draco 9s isn’t long enough to index off the face, and you can’t index off the gas block/sight block. You can use a jam nut to solve this problem, but be sure you use a suppressor alignment rod to check alignment when you tighten down the jam nut and flash hider. I have had no issues with baffle or end cap strikes using the Plan A hub mount with this flash hider.
