Griffin ATM (Advanced Threaded Match) Barrels are billet machined from 416R chromium stainless steel to exacting tolerances for the ultimate in drop in match performance. 5 axis machining done in a single work holding positions all critical dimensions on the breech ensuring theoretically perfect geometrical relationship of barrel, slide and locking lug. Chambers are honed and polished to ensure an extremely smooth surface finish and optimal reliability with a wide range of ammunition from training to duty ammo. Two years of research and testing provided the appropriate knowledge to machine the barrel dimensions for a perfect fitment; providing the best possible accuracy without sacrificing factory reliability. Installed the new barrel and micro comp. Was a little aprehensive if this would work or just cause issues. Took it to the range yesterday. All l can say is that the barrel worked awesome. Still on the fence about the comp. Seems to help a bit. Shot closed to 500 rounds thru it. NOT A SINGLE FAILURE! Comp did loosen up but that was minimal. Great job guys. Finally got one; don’t wait, get it as soon as you see it available. Tight group at 10 yards and no issues with or without suppressor. My only complaint is that I was having so much fun punching holes that I ran out of ammo before I had a chance to test it farther than 10yards

I’ve put 500 rounds through my new Griffin Armament barrel and micro comp. I could not believe how noticeable of a difference the micro comp made with recoil. I EDC with this now for a bout a week and don’t notice the comp. Great product.

Significantly reduced felt recoil due to increased barrel length and the comp. I’m not sure how useful the comp is because of the design and have noticed signifcantly increased carbon buildup on my wml from the comp. I will test it out with only a thread protector in the future. Enjoy the product so far. Just be careful to buy a longer holster or watch out for a hot muzzle when you are stringing shots together.

I got this for my EDC. Though personally I wouldn’t suggest it for your EDC since the barrel sticks out of my holster. If you have a holster that can cover the protruding comp, then “comfort” will not be an issue when sitting down. If you can put up with that/ don’t mind it, then this is a very nice upgrade. Makes range day a little more fun!

The workmanship and finish is suburb and it dropped into the gun without any problem. I have not taken it to the range yet, but every prior item purchased has met my needs completely. I have a compact sig with an XL upper and tested this barrel and compensator, notable change in muzzel rise and target acquisition ,ran variable loads, 115, 124. and 147gr ammo, handled very well and dead on steel…

*disclaimer* I’m using a heavier Harrington 365-2P comp (top ports only) until Griffin finishes designing a more sizeable alternative to the micro carry-comp. (Please?) The micro comp is great, too, for what it is. I just wanted an aggressive top port comp.
