The Taper Mount PLAN-A™ adapter provides a Griffin Taper Mount interface for Silencerco® Hybrid™, OMEGA™, and Harvester 338™ as well as DEAD AIR ARMAMENT™ NOMAD™, and other suppressors with mount interface inside diameter threading of 1.375×24. No proprietary tools required. Machined in our Watertown headquarters from billet 17-4 stainless steel, this adapter provides a precision made interface that gives you access to nationally recognized Griffin Taper Mounts and accessories. Precision, durability, and value are at the core of Griffin product design and manufacturing. This product allows you to affordable kit up with the best muzzle devices in the industry.
The exposed length or length added of the Plan-A™ when installed is .200″. This allows for a wide range of taper mount accessories to be fitted to the suppressors.

Bought a nomad from my LGS in Texas. Was shocked when i realized it only came with a direct thread interface. Started looking around and this was the least expensive quality option to get my nomad going on muzzle devices. Wish i would have known when i bought the nomad otherwise I may have just gone with griffins Paladin suppressor to start but oh well live and learn. thanks Griffin for the parts. Review would have been 5 stars if my Nomad came with a mount.

I own both SilencerCo Hybrid and Griffin Armament Optimus.
This adapter allows me to use both suppressors on the same firearm that I installed Taper Mount FlashComp.
I also have a M4SD flashcomp because I don’t want to deal with threads. It is great for mounting bayonet clean and easily. I can use the A2 Optimus mount to put on my Optimus. However the A2 mount is not that fast for QD compared to Gate-LOK.
It will be great if Griffin Armament can produce Gate-LOK™ adapters for both Optimus and for SilencerCo cans. IMHO, Gate-LOK is a better mounting solution than SilencerCo ASR interface.

I hated having so many QDs to deal with, and this simple but still complex mount eliminates the ASR from my life. I wish it was this easy with the 51t.

Bought both a Plan A Saker and Plan A Omega to mount my various SiCo suppressors to the wonderful Griffin taper mount brakes. I like the taper mount so much, I am going to mount minimalist brakes to a couple of my DT hunting rifles for use with both my SiCo and Griffin cans. I like the taper mount over direct thread for the lock-up and thread protection.

I got this to go along with my Minimalist Brake to use on my Turbo K suppressor. Great design and helps keep my suppressor in it shortest configuration.

I had my AAC suppressors back ends cut off and threaded by Ecco to accept the 1.375 options. Couldn’t be happier with the quality, lock up, and comp/brake/flash options by Griffin. I have a lot of 51t mounts to ditch now.

I’ve been using these for a few years. Definitely the shortest, most affordable, and best mounting solution for Bravo/HUB/1.375” cans, and among the lightest. The taper interface with the muzzle device keeps it on during use, and it comes off without carbon locking when done.

This is actually the second one of these that I’ve purchased as I don’t care for the mounts that came with the other suppressors from the factory. Lock up is excellent and fit and finish are absolutely fantastic. I really like the taper mount system. Highly recommend and love GA’s customer service and products.

Many people first buy other mounts, often from the supressor’s manufacturer. And then, after regretting it, buy from Griffin. I decided to cut the corner and bought Silencerco Hybrid with no mount, and then bought this adapter. Very light and small. Works great with minimalist flash hider. Anything longer than this wont work for Plan A, you will need Plan A L, or XL.

I use a Bushwacker 46 on a 10/22 and an AR 300BLK. The AR has a 9.5″ bbl and a 14″ handguard. After shooting, the Plan A adapter would always stay attached to the bbl adapter. I had to remove the handguard to get it off to use on the 10/22. I bought this extra Plan A to keep on the .22
Baseline Training –
I’ve used the plan b mount from Q and this is far superior for a number of different reasons.
#1 it maintains the same low profile mount as the plan B and Reardon, however, you get the luxury of utilizing a wide range of other muzzle devices that Griffin has to offer for this mount.
#2 the lock up on the taper with the plan A in comparison to the plan B is far superior in my opinion. Utilized this on a machine gun and it does not back off or get loose AT ALL.
Griffin does it right folks, and they have the staying power behind their brand to prove it.

I have a Reece 5 Mod 4 for my AR-15’s, so they got taper mount muzzle devices. I also have an Alaskan 360, for my 300 Blackout. I wanted to be able to easily use the Alaskan 360, on my Griffin taper mounts. This worked perfectly! I’ve found that the taper mounts, work better than the stupid R.U.M. anyway.
