Adding only a few tenths of an inch in length beyond a typical thread protector the patent pending Micro Carry Comp provides brute strength and gas direction with its close dimensioned 17-4SS ported baffle face. Its minimal size and weight ensure that the Micro Carry Comp will not significantly print on concealed carry clothing like other comps or burden the end user with unnecessary weight. NOTE
1/2×28: Indexes off the barrel shoulder. For use on standard, sub compact, compact, and full-size tilt-barrel firearms that have a normal profile of barrel (G19, G17, P320, S&W M&P 2.0).
1/2×28 Special: Indexes off the face of the muzzle. For use on micro compact tilt barrel firearms with little to no barrel shoulder due to the thinner profile of the barrel (G43, G43x, G42, G48, P365, P365XL, Hellcat).
If you are concerned about fitment, the 1/2×28 special will work on a normal profile barrel as well. It will operate the same, but if you have a longer threaded surface on your barrel, you may see uncovered threads rearward of the muzzle device when using this option.

Easy to use (no timing or extra custom parts necessary), feels like there was some slight reduction in flip. Ultimately, a thread protector that also helps with reducing recoil. Got one for my full size pistol and concealed carry.

I bought this item for use with a Glock conversion kit with a 16″ barrel. I initially had a more aggressive compensator which caused ejection and feeding issues. Switched to the micro carry comp and now my setup works well.

This comp, for its size, is a very good option and performed well in my opinion. I wasn’t looking for a super effective comp, just one that takes off a bit of the recoil that I added by putting an optic on my pistol. Fits perfect on threaded barrel for M&P Shield Plus. Makes the gun – which already has almost no recoil – feel like a .22. Also shot in low light (BLM land at night), with HST 124+P and it wasn’t a huge blinding fireball.

I purchased this comp for my Hellcat before the Hellcat RDP came out with a factory compensator. I was blown away with how well it worked for how small it was. A friend of mine bought the RDP when it came out and shooting them side by side, there was noticeably less recoil with the Griffin Micro Comp over the factory Springfield comp! On top of that, it’s significantly smaller and fits in a holster better. I’ll definitely be purchasing more for my guns!
