The Griffin Armament M4SD muzzle devices interface with our GATE-LOK (M4SD2, M4SDK, 30SD, and 30SDK suppressors) and QD Blast Shield.
The M4SD muzzle brake provides high efficiency recoil reduction and two durable, sacrificial baffles for use inside M4SD /30SD sound suppressors. CNC Machined and outside diameter ground from high strength, corrosion and wear resistant, 17-4 precipitation hardened stainless steel. The M4SD muzzle brake is black oxide finished. 1/2Ã?28 threads offer compatibility with most 5.56mm Ar-15/M-4 carbine family weapons.
Overall length of 2.25″ will bring 14.5″ barrels to the minimum legal length of 16.1″ when permanently attached.
Includes shim set and over-travel stop washer.
Over-travel stop tab should be positioned at the bottom of the muzzle device (6 Oclock).

I bought this brake for a 14.5 inch barrel to pin it and make a legal rifle length barrel. The fit and finish are perfect and gives the rifle a really nice look. Shooting 5.56 with this brake results in basically zero muzzle rise and very rapid follow up shots. The only downside is my friends on the firing line with me don’0It care for the sidewards pressure and blast it creates, but who cares what they think anyways. Overall I’0Im highly pleased with the brake, and will be getting a taper mount flash comp to mount my Recce 7 suppressor that is currently sitting in NFA jail. Griffin Armament makes quality products.
