Not content with excellence, our design team took the M4SD-K through a series of enhancements to bring you a superlative 5.56mm QD sound suppressor. Forged in the fires of Mount Doom, the new M4SD-K (Mod 4) begins life as approximately nine inches of 17-4 stainless, tool steel, bar stock. We have found 17-4 to provide markedly superior wear resistance, as compared to softer high nickel alloys of good reputation in industry. The heart of the M4SD-K suppressor is a billet machined “chassis” (tube body), with integrated muzzle device bearing surfaces, which houses the internal components.
The “chassis” provides a housing substantially stronger than the strongest tube materials currently available. Through extensive, costly and time intensive machining of the “chassis”, a tube structure of superior geometry is derived. The chassis is encompassed by a series of flutes surrounded by supporting structures affording enhanced strength to weight ratio coupled with a 40% increase of surface area for unparalleled cooling. The M4SD-K has surface area comparable to compact 7.62mm suppressors on the market. Reducing the internal operating temperature of the suppressor yields a superior product with a level of durability beyond that of current market options. Monolithic structure of the blast chamber and tube maximizes safety factor and provides maximum theoretical temperature transfer, allowing heat to normalize, mitigating the effects of erosion to baffle surfaces. Integrated at the request of elite tactical units, the included flash suppressor front cap further reduces flash signature in pursuit of suppressed superiority.
The M4SD-K uses our Patented ECO-FLOW™ baffle technology. Our patented baffling allows the M4SD-K to outperform other competing full size flagship suppressors. This high performance is coupled with low system back-pressure for optimal reliability. The M4SD-K offers users a wide range of mounting options using our GATE-LOK™ mounts and compatible A2 compensators.
The M4SD-K brings advanced CNC manufacturing, wire EDM, TIG fusion and filler rod welding, together in one full spectrum product. Unique to Griffin M4SD family suppressors is it’s SDQD GATE-LOK™ mounting interface. The GATE-LOK™ mounting system is one of the fastest on the market and accommodates the A2 NATO compensator as well as Griffin’s proprietary GATE-LOK™ series performance rich muzzle device options.
Additionally the GATE-LOK™ mounting system does not suffer from the wear prone issues of ratcheting systems common to the marketplace. Our mounting system was designed to provide trouble free use. The mounts of the M4SD family of sound suppressor are precision ground to ten thousandths of an inch for minimal, repeatable and completely dependable point of impact shift.

No barrel restrictions! While longer barrels promote longer service life, this suppressor has no length restrictions!
*Silencer interface was designed to fit the USGI A2 government contract compliant muzzle devices. We cannot guarantee fitment with an A2 style compensator due to the broad tolerance range of both import and domestic devices from various brands. For guaranteed fitment, we recommend the purchase of a Griffin GATE-LOK™ muzzle device.

Great suppressor. Fit on all of my firearms with mil spec A2 birdcage flash hiders. I put the included comp on another rifle and it fit great too. Solid build quality, solid sound reduction. Excellent customer service and an easy process because of that.

I was finally able to get to the range to sight in my AR15 build with my new Griffin Armament M4SD-K Suppressor attached. I have to say what a joy it is to shoot this AR15 build suppressed! The suppressor is easy to attach and detach with the GATE-LOK™ (QD) and point of aim/impact is consistenet round after round. The suppressor is quiet enough I was able to shoot several rounds without hearing protection, this is good to know since this is my home defense gun. Griffin Armament will be my go to when I purchase more suppressors! Keep up the great work and innovation!

This is by far one of the best 556 cans around. I have alot of cans. All different and this is my goto and one that stays on my rifle at all times.
Not only is it more quiet than honestly and while subjectivity it is the most quiet I’ve seen yet. And I do at least 10 weekend classes a year as well as shoot mostly with groups. The can stays on my rifle. Buy it. No question you’ll enjoy it. Quiet, light. Short and sweet. Everything yiu want with a company who stands behind their product
