Griffin Armament is proud to introduce affordable Micro Modular Sights (M2) compatible with Picatinny rail systems. Griffin M2 sights offer an industry first, patent pending, modular base plate system. Constructed from QPQ Treated 17-4 and ordnance grade steel, Griffin M2 Sights were designed to be the correct product for every backup sight application. A shooter can use these durable, low profile sights in a 12 o’clock mounted application while having the flexibility to reconfigure them to ambidextrous 45 degree angle sights using the alternate and available angle plates. This flexibility ensures these sights can be used by anyone and will never end up in a box of undesirable legacy kit. The full M2 deployment kit includes the front and rear sight assemblies as well as both vertical and angled bases for a complete modular system. However, sights and bases are available separately for users who wish to buy parts as needed. The front A2 sight provides elevation adjustment while ensuring maximum aftermarket support for your favorite post, be it tritium, fiber optic, match grade, or otherwise. An extremely low profile, snag resistant, slotted rear windage screw, affords easy but more importantly secure adjustability. Robust spring tension of both front and rear flip up assemblies ensures accurate repeatability every time the sight towers are actuated. Never before has a product in this category offer this degree of flexibility. Griffin M2 Sights have a minimal foot print, and are among the smallest backup sights on the market. For a mere 2 and half ounces your rifle can be equipped with a durable iron sight system, to provide aiming capability in rain, snow, or fog, on or off axis without dependence on batteries or glass.

This Kit Rocks!! The kit allows you two mounting options. I have these on a DDM4 300 SBR and I could not be happier. Solid mount, Solid lock, and not made out of plastic. My only complaint would be that they are a bit difficult to deploy if you are wearing heavy gloves. But, one should run and gun with their BUIS deployed anyways. They co-witness beautifully with my red dot and occupy very little real-estate on my rail. I would recommend these to anyone looking for an outstanding set of irons. I cannot speak to the offset mount but I like having that option.

I got this with the 45 degree mounting plates to make a backup sight for my BCM 10.5 inch upper that has a 1-6x as the main optic. I’ve had it slung and hiked in rough terrain etc and every time I’ve checked it has kept a solid zero.

Overall good sights. I had an issue when installing the 45 degree mounts. I set my Wheeler torque driver to 15 ft/lbs per the recommendation on the package and proceeded to not only bend the mount but also strip the screws. Set it to 10 lbs for the second mount and had no problems. I was able to carefully bend the first mount back into position and snug the screws back in and I assume they’ll be fine with some loctite, but I’d go with a 10lb max torque setting instead of the 15 in the future.

These are easy to mount and deploy. Quality product. They’re small enough in the angled mount form to fit between a red dot and magnifier instead of setting them far back to potentially interfere with a charging handle.

Rear sight aperture is in the middle of the rear aperture target and combat apertures of my beloved Colt Government A-2 carbine. I actually like it way better. Most excellent!! Not made out of crappy plastic as well! Can’t say enough nice things about it. Will now name my next child Griffen in honer of it.
