Griffin Armament A3 Grip. An improved grip for the Ar15 series rifle. Our engineering department did a study of available grips, took desirable characteristics of the A1 grip, changed the angle for optimal pointing characteristics, made several variations during product improvement, and the A3 grip was the resulting product. The A3 provides excellent comfort and ergonomic feel, without loss of positive weapon retention or ease of safety selector manipulation. The Griffin A3 is compatible with the USGI trigger guard’s winter guard function for gloved or mitten use. Textured to match the Griffin Armament Rail-Shield M-Lok furniture kit, available in four colors- the Griffin A3 grip is an impressive grip at a reasonable price.

I was looking for an A2 styled grip without the notch and ran across a few guys on social media who were running this grip. They gave high ratings so I bought it and needless to say, I’0Im very pleased with it. Amazing quality and I love the checkering. Will be ordering again for future builds!!

I love this grip! It has a much more vertical angle than a lot of other grips I have tried. Just the thing for my .22 charger/pmaca chassis build. Great product that I would recomend to anyone.

I ordered this grip for my “retro modern fusion” AR15 build because it combined the aesthetics and grip angle that I wanted. I love it! The angle is great, and the “shelf” at the bottom of the front of the grip is far more effective at preventing your hand from slipping off than the A2 (not to mention eliminating the awful finger bump!). The only issue I’m having is that the hole for the safety detent spring seems slightly deeper than other grips, meaning my safety is a bit too easy (for my tastes) to manipulate. I’m sure this will be fixed by adding a small “spacer” in the grip underneath the spring, but I’d rather not have to do that.

Feels incredibly solid and well made. Looks great with the rail furniture as well. The grip angle proves to be the best that I have felt over most other popular grips I have used in past years.

I have a love/hate relationship with the A2 grip, love it’s all around versatility, I can work around the annoying finger bump but the fatigue/pain inducing angle always ends up in a grip change. I’ve tried a multitude of grips searching for the perfect grip and I’ve finally found it in the A3! This grip is everything stated in the description, the A3 grip should be standard issue, everything else on the platform is being upgraded. No issues with the safety and an A2 grip plug fits perfectly. Do yourself a favor, try one!

One of my favorite AR grips. I have them on like six different rifles. These were discontinued as a standalone item for a time and I’m thrilled they are back…I suspect becsuse of consumer demand. Griffin Armament, for the love of God please don’t discontinue these again!
