The GATE-LOK™ mounting system is one of the fastest on the market and accommodates the A2 NATO compensator as well as Griffin’s GATE-LOK™ series proprietary performance rich muzzle device options.
Additionally the GATE-LOK™ mounting system does not suffer from the wear prone issues of ratcheting systems common to the marketplace. Our mounting system was designed to provide trouble free use.

*Silencer interface was designed to fit the USGI A2 government contract compliant muzzle devices. We cannot guarantee fitment with an A2 style compensator due to the broad tolerance range of both import and domestic devices from various brands. For guaranteed fitment, we recommend the purchase of a Griffin mount.

Barrel & Caliber Restrictions :
The only restrictions would be .300WM 24″, 208/6.5CM 14.5″. Other than that, NO RESTRICTIONS (assuming your applicable suppressor is rated for this)! Friendly reminder, longer barrels promote longer service life for your suppressor.

This is a high quality and well made unit, fit very well. The ratcheting locking mechanism is simple but very effective design, which I can see that it will not prone to give users glitches. The locking mechanism is tight at beginning, but will get better with use. Hope that the metal plate for ratcheting lock is a wear resistant material, we will see. On that note, it would be nice if griffin can provide that plate as a spare part in the accessories for purchase.

Absolutely awesome product. Just the ability to mount to the A2 birdcage is priceless but not having to buy expensive muzzle devices is even better. Great innovation and quality. I definitely recommend this product!

Put this on my A2 birdcage on my .223 and it locked in just like it should. Attempted to place it on similar A2 birdcages, (6.5 Grendel and a 308 Ar10 ) it did not want to lock in place. However as the description reads it will not fit all A2 birdcages. There are some minor flaws with the groves in the muzzle devices that won’t allow proper fitting. I’ll definitely be purchasing the Gate-Lok Birdcages to correct this issue. Over all I can not wait to get my Bushwhacker 46 to use this on.

I am sold on the Gate-lok system, most of myu firearms use it.
Some details about the Gate-lok hub mount to aid in determining suppressor compatibility:
– The threaded collar extends 14.30mm from where your suppressor indexes against the shoulder of the adapter. The collar is 33.40mm in diameter.
– The maximum device diameter is 22mm.
– A mil-spec A2 device does not protrude from the threaded collar. A Griffin flashcomp in either 5.56 or 7.62 extends 10mm from the end of the shroud.
