Description
The EZ-LOK™ is our new patent pending, separate eco-system, separately available, simplified, universal Rapid Index™, piston system. EZ-LOK™ is comprised of two parts, the piston, and the barrel adapter. This product page is for the barrel adapter (smaller black component pictured). This product was intended to provide a simple solution with zero training or familiarity requirement for customers. CAM-LOK® is our original and still higher performance, patent pending product in the pistol silencer piston mount product class that Griffin Armament created.
The Griffin Armament EZ-LOK™ interface affords the user the ability to convert the suppressor to a much faster and more secure mounting solution on browning style action (tilt barrel) pistols vs it’s legacy technology, single piece, direct thread piston counterparts. Direct thread single piece pistons have several negative attributes. They do not accept tools, and are hand tightened to the host firearm. As a result of hand installation, they loosen when the piston system reciprocates under slide cycling during the firing sequence. This vibration and inadvertent loosening of pistol silencers, requires end users to constantly check tighten pistol silencers. This periodically causes users to have “bad range days” with unforeseen baffle strikes and end cap strikes. These unfortunate events cause logistically burdensome work for consumers to communicate with service departments, ship products back and forth, and sometimes assume charges for repair for these issues.
No longer do users need to worry about their pistol suppressors loosening during use (as with traditional fixed direct thread pistons). The EZ-LOK™ interface supports a 3/4″ socket wrench for installation with prevailing torque, and features a taper locking system, which encourages secure attachment, despite the piston still actuating for and aft during the firing sequence. The piston can be attached / detached in one single mounting orientation, simplifying the system to something anyone who can screw in a lightbulb can immediately grasp. Additionally, the manufacturing accuracy of the interface is held to Griffin Armament’s high quality standards for squareness, and concentricity, ensuring that each mounting position has similar and minimal POI shift influence. To support this, the mating pistons and EZ-LOK™ direct thread adapters have all mating diameters and interfacing geometry qualified in a single operation, for tool quality accuracy and perfection. A similar manufacturing theory was applied to the barrel adapter for maximum alignment accuracy.
End users benefit from being able to attach their silencer to various adapter interfaced host firearms, without having to disassemble the suppressor and change the piston to a different thread pitch. The piston is “universal”; accommodating any pistol mounted with a EZ-LOK™ barrel adapter. Additionally, end users with different brand suppressors supported by the EZ-LOK™ piston family, will be able to benefit from the interchangeability of EZ-LOK™ barrel adapters between EZ-LOK™ piston models. This adapter also acts as a thread protector for the more expensive barrel’s threads which when used with fixed pistons, are traditionally exposed.
9mm versions are shorter, .45 caliber versions feature an extended cylinder to attach to the larger diameter barrels.
Installation & Use Notes : Suppressor should be tightly assembled when using this product to avoid inadvertent disassembly of the suppressor when removing it from barrel adapter. Barrel adapters should be installed to their host firearms with a minimum torque rating of 22 ft/lbs using a 3/4 socket and needle type torque wrench. Use of a box end wrench will not have optimal contact with the wrench flat geometry on the adapter and may damage the adapter.
CAM-LOK® requires suppressor attachment with minimum 22inch lbs of force. EZ-LOK™ requires suppressor attachment with minimum 13.75inch lbs of force. With both systems, a slight squish should be felt during tightening and indicates tapers are engaged (locked), and required installation torque has been met.
For the fastest system, choose CAM-LOK®. For the the most simple system, choose EZ-LOK™.

NOTE
1/2×28: Indexes off the barrel shoulder. For use on standard, sub compact, compact, and full-size tilt-barrel firearms that have a normal profile of barrel (G19, G17, P320, S&W M&P 2.0).
1/2×28 Special: Indexes off the face of the muzzle. For use on micro compact tilt barrel firearms with little to no barrel shoulder due to the thinner profile of the barrel (G43, G43x, G48, P365, P365XL, Hellcat).
If you are concerned about fitment, the 1/2×28 special will work on a normal profile barrel as well. It will operate the same, but if you have a longer threaded surface on your barrel, you may see uncovered threads rearward of the muzzle device when using this option.
1/2×28 SMG/PCC: Made specifically for SMG’s and PCC’s (Sub Machine Guns and Pistol Caliber Carbines) that have the industry standard length of threads commonly found on carbines: 0.625.”
Glock Gen 4 or Gen 5 users: It is reported the barrel adapter may touch your guide rod when the slide reciprocates. We have not been able to replicate in house using CAM-LOK®/EZ-LOK™ barrel adapters with Glock Gen 4/5 recoil spring assemblies. However, the items below allow your Glock® Gen 4/5 to work with a Glock® Gen 3 recoil spring assembly that does not have this reported issue.

Works great for my application I used this in contact with my Bushwhacker46 and an EZ Lock Piston to allow me to us the suppressor on my Glock 21 45ACP. Everything went together great once I understand how it all was supposed to be assembled. No instructions in packages, but Griffin has You tube videos on how it all goes together and works.

Perfect and secure fit!
John Kennedy –
Works as advertised and fine machine work.

Works as designed.

This has worked perfectly and is exactly what most people are looking for when they’re planning on having a suppressor on a weapon they can keep in a bag.

Love the ez lok system! Great products from a great company. If you’re on the fence about whether this system is worth purchasing in place of standard pistons, dont even think twice about it.

I hated shooting suppressed handguns until I got ahold of some ez lok. Before, I would pretty much only bring my pistol suppressors to the range when I was there with a new shooter, and I wanted to show them something cool so they could feel like 007.
Now that I have this, I actually bought threaded barrels for a couple more handguns, and I suspect it will be a staple at the range from here on out. Nice work GA.

Thus far, no baffle strikes using Griffin’s EZ-Lok system on a Rugged Obsidian 9 and a CGS Mod 9SK. Although it makes cleaning and weapon disassembly more complicated, the pros of easily swapping between different hosts and not having the suppressor walk off outweigh the negatives. I purchased a torque wrench and deep socket just for the purpose of adding or removing this muzzle adapter from each host at the recommended torque setting.

Well, the Goonsquad from Griffin did it again. Personally having a pleasant experience hosting several firearms 3 of their Cam Lok with their pistons, I thought I’d try the EZ LOK which is basically the same thing, but just a more familiar option. I have to be honest, otherwise I’d be doing a disservice to future customers. I don’t know which I like more , EZ LOK took at most 2 seconds longer if not less. My friend that was with me …. well not a friend, just an idiot I bring with me to make me look like the better marksman. Point is he liked both and we both agreed that either choice is a win win. You can’t go wrong. Fast shipping as usual, fair price for a perfected system. Customer service is GOD Tier. I don’t dish that compliment out unless I feel it worthy. Thank you Griffin Armament for providing me the buy with confidence feeling. This is a must have.

Easy install and works great!

I’ve been buying this for all my pistols. I like it more than CAM LOK because it just won’t back off. It’s not as fast as CAM, but it’s faster than direct thread and you get a great seal. Thanks griffin!
Eric C. –
This is a good solution for those with one or two rimfire suppressors but multiple hosts. Many rimfire suppressors have aluminum direct thread connections and these steel adapters can preserve the condition of the suppressor parts.
David Strickland –
This thing is great! It’s a taper mount for the handgun. Just another smart innovative products from Griffin. Locks up so much better than direct thread. I can freely and quickly change from 9 mm to 40 on the bushwacker 46 in seconds. I prefer this set up over the cam lock system. Special thanks to Jack Griffin for taking the time to get me straight and answer a few questions I had. Pew, pew ?

Every Griffin device and accessory I’ve purchased has been of good quality and a fine value. Thank you.
Happy Shooter –
It works great, but… this doesn’t thread all the way onto an FNX 45 T. I’ve got this on a PDP Pro as well and that threads to the shoulder. This is a few mm off the shoulder.

I bought 4 of these 2 in 9mm 2 in .45 had an issue with one of the .45 threading on. I emailed customer service on a Sunday night they had another one on the way Monday without me knowing. I had resolved the issue on Sunday night after sending the email something was caught in the threads I took a brass brush and cleaned the treads it screwed on without a problem. After getting the shipping email from customer service I emailed them back and let them know I had resolved the issue and I returned the one they had shipped out.

If you want to easily shoot your pistol or PCC with a suppressor, then I highly recommend the Griffin Armament EZ Lok system and adapters. I have a Rugged Obsidian 45 and it’s so much more pleasant to be able to easily move it from one pistol to the other to my PCC. Also, I haven’t noticed any walk-off at all.
John Michelli –
Works as designed and allowed me to use the EZ-LOK system with my Obsidian 9 so it doesn’t unscrew itself.
John Michelli –
Works great. Bought this so I can use my Rugged Obsidian 9 on my Dissent 300 BO pistol. I trust Griffin’s taper mounts with all my suppressors.
Wade –
Great product. Got the alert it was in stock and bought right away.
Jason –
Works well with my RAD45 ??
mg –
needed this for my P10-F, definitely a must for any pistol that is a suppressor host
Tom Demaree –
This one is for the second barrel of my Walther P22 and I wanted the same part as the one on my first barrel!
James ONeail –
This thing looks amazing on my kiss vector 16 inch barrel. If I could add pictures, I would love to show everyone what I had done. But this thing looks amazing.
Kevin Dickerson –
Bought for my hk tactical.45 and walther ppq 9mm both worked great.
JJ –
I love how easy it is to move my cans to different guns. I have two different SilencerCo cans these mounts work great.
AF –
Great for quick attaching suppressor to multiple firearms.
Jeffrey Wilent –
Installed one on my Walther PPQ, and I am going to be using one on my Marlin 1894 with a fixed barrel mount on my silencer. Really nice option!
Benjamin Webb –
Not too much to say, shit just works. Can locks up tight, doesn’t work itself loose, but is faster than direct-thread
Daniel Simpson –
I switched to EZ-LOK from CAM LOK. I had issues with the CAM LOKs over rotating. Reasonable quick on and off, holds can solid , have not had any come loose.
Stephen F Merz –
Such a great way to multifunction a suppressor when you have two weapons with different barrel end threads.
Travis –
I picked this up to run my Obsidian45 on a new SMG45 and I can’t be happier. I shot 150 rounds through the gun, two mags dumped, and at the end the suppressor was even more secure than when I started because of mild carbon locking XD
100% recommend this product.
Drake Meaux –
Worked as it should, only had trouble on my bull barreled rifle because there wasnt enough material for the socket to grab on

Great lockup on pistol and rimfire cans. No concentricity issues across 3 firearms and two suppressors. Direct thread is nice, but not ruining the threads on your barrel or mount is peace of mind for almost no added length and a minimal amount of added weight.

I purchased the Ezlok Special to fix the barrel thread issues with the PSA AKV.
