Description
This A2 mount interface provides a high quality mounting interface for Griffin Armament GATE-LOK Flash comps, Hammer Comps, and mil-spec A2 birdcage flash hiders. PLEASE DO NOT ASK OUR CUSTOMER SERVICE DEPT what other companies mounts work with this device. There may be others, but we can only tell you that it works with our devices and mil spec A2 flash hiders.
The device and the collar are both compatible with the GRIFFIN ARMORERS WRENCH, GRIFFIN 1.375×24 WRENCH, and GRIFFIN REVOLUTION WRENCH.
Weighing 5 ounces, the A2 adapter mount can be used on 5.56mm AR’s or with the 30SD flash comp it will support centerfire calibers up to .308 Winchester.

I have a lot of rifles with A2’s on them and now I don’t have to replace them to run my Vox. Fits the VG6 Gamma on my BCM like it was made just for it.

I’ve been looking for this solution for years. Shipping was faster than expected. Threaded onto Silencerco Omega and worked perfectly. At $100 per proprietary muzzle device do it this way and save money if you have more than one you want to mount to. Wish I had it 5 years ago. Only thing I would change is add knurling to the cap. Well done!

Excellent machining and fit. The only thing I would say is that if they were to shorten the front of the outside collar and rear of the adapter it would work great with VG6 Epsilons and Gammas.

Definitely seems pricy for what it is going in…but once it’s in your hands you’ll probably understand. Once you realize how exact the tolerances are (and must be) to ensure a solid and true lock up, and minimize the gap between the muzzle device and the threaded “sleeve” that must slide over and cover it, it starts to make sense.
Well made, zero side-to-side or front to back play. Rotational play will depend on your muzzle device, though shouldn’t affect anything. A happy surprise, not noticed/pictured/mentions are the three prongs inside the 1.375 end of the device. These prongs/teeth will index/lock in to A2 devices that have a crenulated end. I have a couple 2A Armament T3 “comps” (flash hiders with extra ports for comp/brake effect), and it was a happy surprise that the “sleeve”/inner portion of this adapter indexes and locks into place; Thread the inner sleeve most of the in, feel the teeth lock in to the crenulations on the comp, and the torque it down the rest of the way via the outer sleeve that holds on to the bayonet groove on the A2.
Inner sleeve/1.375 portion works with a standard 3 prong castle nut wrench. Outer/rear portion works with a standard “1 prong” spanner type castle nut wrench.
Really just came here to say that it works with the 2A T3 comp, but as you can tell I’m pretty pumped on this thing at the moment and couldn’t resist saying a few more words ?.
