The Griffin Armament Paladin Brake is a compact 2-Port Taper Mount muzzle device that is compatible with all of our taper mount silencers and accessories. Geometrically designed to keep weight to a minimum, the Paladin Brake offers full size performance without the weight penalty.
Equipped with two rearward directing recoil reducing ports, with vertical compensation slots, the two port brake provides flat shooting performance in addition to maximum braking power. Melonite QPQ provides a durable, attractive finish. The Paladin is machined from high strength 17-4 stainless steel that is corrosion and wear resistant.
.22 CAL -1/2x28 version and .30 CAL - 5/8x24 version are pre- drilled for pinning and welding.

I received 2 of these today and the finish and fitment are top notch as usual. They will go on my RPR and AR-10 for attaching my suppressor. I do wish they included the thread protector like the taper brakes used to as opposed to having to purchase them separately.
The mount fit perfect and looks great.
I haven't installed and shot with the brake yet, but out of the package, it's typical Griffin, which is a well thought design, and a fantastic finish.
This unit appears to be very well manufactured and finished. I believe this brake will perform to my expectations. I hope this 2 Port Brake will be more 'sacrificial' than the Minimalist Brake. Waiting for the Stamp of Approval to my Paladin to arrive sometime next year. Thank You.
Nice design and finish. Made for 6.5mm!!! Not many companies have made 6.5mm brakes yet which is shocking.. I'll be mounting it on my rifle once it gets back from the gun Smith so can't comment on it's performance yet. Based on the design, it has ports to vent gas upward to reduce muzzle flip and rearward angled brake baffles to reduce recoil. Those are both defining characteristics of other proven designs. As with most brakes with similar characteristics, I do think it'll be a little less pleasant for those shooting next to you but there's a simple fix for that being a taper mount..
Fit and finish are excellent. Easy to mount, and functions quite well. Definaeybreccoment for taper mount interfacing suppressors. Will buy again
