The Griffin Armament Paladin Brake is a compact 2-Port Taper Mount muzzle device that is compatible with all of our taper mount silencers and accessories. Geometrically designed to keep weight to a minimum, the Paladin Brake offers full size performance without the weight penalty.
Equipped with two rearward directing recoil reducing ports, with vertical compensation slots, the two port brake provides flat shooting performance in addition to maximum braking power. Melonite QPQ provides a durable, attractive finish. The Paladin is machined from high strength 17-4 stainless steel that is corrosion and wear resistant.
.22 CAL -1/2x28 version and .30 CAL - 5/8x24 version are pre- drilled for pinning and welding.

I have four Optimus cans in the family and this makes my eighteenth taper mount. What’s to say. They are built like a tank and a breeze to install. Just waiting for the next and adding six more for the 22lr’s. Great product. Great company.

I own 9 of these taper mounts. 3 of which are the two port brakes. they are all top notch quality and top notch function. They make a massive difference, even on .308 with recoil and follow ups. Highly recommend these.
Installed on FN SCAR17. Very good craftsmanship. Looks good, reduces recoil as much has PRS break or maybe more. Supressed had less POI shift than other rifles I have. Highly recommended
Worked just as I expected it to, made observers non-voluntarily blink unsurpassed, and easy mounting of a RECCE7 can. Fit and finish are very nice, and I like that timing shims are included so I can't forget to buy a set and have to find some locally or wait for shipping of a new order.
