Griffin Armament has gone to great lengths to accommodate a wide variety of thread pitch and caliber options across our silencer mount and adapter products. This gives practically every end user who wishes to suppress their host the opportunity to do so! With this wide range of compatibility comes its own set of issues, the main one being silencer and mount alignment to the host firearm's bore.

If you are experiencing misalignment with a Griffin Armament suppressor, please contact our Customer Service department for assistance. We may be able to help, however it is important to note that some threaded barrels in the market are not cut with the needed quality to safely mount a sound suppressor. If your firearm exhibits this condition we suggest the use of Adco Firearms in Sylvania, OH for custom suppressor grade threading.

Quality rods that meet all expectations!
As a prototype machinist for a large Engineering Company machinist I use high precision tools on a daily basis. Good tool aren't cheap, the only way I could attempt to find a defect would be to use a CMM. My 0.0001" mic's were spot on the engagement with the barrel of my rifle was like glass on glass. It's a piece of mind to by a check rod, 800 can or 60ish dollars. It's not worth rolling the dice and gamble on you rifles threads being concentric to the bore, then the muzzle device and then the cans threads. That called tolerance stacking and that's always stupid
Fast shipping, must have for suppresor. Definitely be getting other caliber soon.

These rods are expensive but worth the money. I have several firearms that I switch my bushwhacker 46 around on ( excellent supressor by the way) and checking alignment is critical. I have already found that some other companies adapters are not as good of quality as griffins and I have found alignment issues. Without theses rods you would find out the hard way.
Just wanted to make sure everything was aligned and square.
I bought this alignment rod and it doesn’t disappoint. It’s very high quality.
Great quality
Use of this tool should be made mandatory to ensure proper attachement of the suppressor to the pistol. I use alignment check rods on my 9mm and .45ACP pistols. Do not, repeat, DO NOT fire that first shot without checking the alignment!
Nothing makes you clench your sphincter tighter than shooting an AK with a supressor that's not designed for Russian "precision" With this rod, you can take the hope-ium factor out and shoot clench free.
