The 12.5″ barrel gave me superb groupings out of the box. I ran 300 rds through it and I was able to accurately hit targets 250 meters away with ease (11.5 & 12.5 give better accuracy at 200-300 meters than 10.5, and 13.5/14.5 has negligible improvent over 12.5). My 18″ Faxon barrel on my competition rifle was barely outperforming this shorty, which says it all. I love everything about this AR pistol outside of the grip, hence the 4 stars rather than 5, but I like a more vertical grip angle than the normal A2 style grip angle, and I also prefer a more sandpaper-like textured grip. Highly recommend purchasing this firearm!
