Rev 9 Upgrade
Sometimes little changes make a good item much better. This upgrade seems to do exactly that. Thanks.
**IMPORTANT!! READ BELOW**
This program is to update your Revolution Silencer to the current housing. To complete this transaction, you will need to purchase this upgrade, review your manual for the part listed as "Booster Housing" to send in, and a copy of your Form 4. ONLY SEND IN YOUR BOOSTER HOUSING PART, NOT YOUR SILENCER TUBE BODY. Failure to follow these steps will result in cancellation of your order.
Once you have placed your order, mail your Booster Housing, copy of Form 4 and a copy of your order invoice to:
Griffin Armament
P.O. Box 230
Watertown, WI 53094
If the suppressor to be serviced is not received by Griffin within 90 days from the purchase of this upgrade, the order will will be cancelled and refunded.
When you send in your Booster Housing, you will receive the new Booster Housing, new piston housing, and the new Rev Wrench.
YOU DO NOT NEED THIS UPGRADE IF YOU HAVE OR ARE PURCHASING A REVOLUTION GEN 2 (or later) OR RESISTANCE SILENCER. THIS IS FOR REVOLUTION GEN 1 USER. This comes with Gen 2 and on.
If you do not want to separate your External Booster Housing and Piston Housing, you may send both in, however, your old parts are not returned.
Sometimes little changes make a good item much better. This upgrade seems to do exactly that. Thanks.
As a Rev 9 owner, I was intrigued by the question the other reviewer touched on - do I need this? I found this article to be very helpful https://internationalsportsman.com/griffin-armament-announces-revolution-upgrade-program/
Have a mod1 Revo 45 and Love it. I still grin every time I use it. Then noticed the Upgrade on the GA website, saved up a little money and made the purchase. I Love the upgrade, makes maintenance SO much easier which means more trigger time!! I would recommend the upgrade, great price , great utility.
If you are waiting on the stamp still, odds are you don't have a Gen1 suppressor. The posting says it's standard on all post Gen1.
What is the reason for this upgrade. I have had occasional issue breaking down the tube, piston and booster housing. Is this going to improve this?
