CALIBER RATINGS:

Current Generation Resistance Suppressors feature 7075 billet aluminum tube housings which are extremely strong. As such we are able to rate our pistol suppressors for many high pressure rifle calibers for sporting use. (sporting use by our definition is 5-7 rounds of fire followed by allowing the suppressor to cool back to ambient temp). This sporting use allows much more flexibility with Griffin pistol suppressors than almost any other market options. Whether target shooting or hunting, Griffin pistol suppressor durability adds a dynamic to the pistol suppressor class of products not commonly found on the market.

With Mini Blast Shield or A2 mount adapter :

  • *300 BLK Super 9"
  • *5.56mm 12.5"
  • *7.62x39 14.5"
  • *.308 WIN 18"

With 3 Lug mounts or Plan A:

  • 300 BLK Sub 8"
  • *300 BLK 16" Super
  • *5.56mm 16"

* Denotes sporting use only ( 5-7 rounds of fire followed by allowing the suppressor to cool back to ambient temp). Exceeding temperatures can compromise the strength of the tube material over time and is not recommended or warranted.

    Great suppressor

Published by Steven Branyon on 3rd Aug 2024

My last review I was to quick to judge. This was my first suppressor so keep that in mine. I am running this on a CZ Scorpion with the 3 lug mount. First of all this thing looks bad ass on the Scorpion. Especially with the flash hider end cap. Cleaning this suppressor is easy but can be time consuming. I'm the type that try's to make it look new again. With picks and brushes. As far a sound suppression goes. It's quite not Hollywood quiet or .22 Optimus micro quiet with subs. I am shooting 9mm subs with this silencer. But because of the blowback operation. It's louder at the ear.(I am left handed) but not uncomfortable to shoot. When standing off to the side. While I let a frind try it out. I was very impressed with the sound reduction. I am confident I can shoot in my back yard now. And not disturb my neighbors. There is also no gas in my face. So the flow through design works. I installed a heavier recall spring. To try to delay the bolt from opening just a bit longer. I did notice a Improvement in Sound Reduction. So I'm my opinion this suppressor is great you want be disappointed. Just keep in mine. On a blowback operated firearm you are going to be a bit louder. Griffin Armament makes some of the best silencers on the market. Also customer service is great.

    Good silencer

This silencer is a bit louder than I expected. I'm shooting subsonic ammo in a CZ scorpion with three lug mount. I'm still getting a report and echo down rang. So I'm not sure how well my neighbors can here me shooting. But don't think you are going to be able shoot. Without anyone else knowing about it. This is my first suppressor so keep that in mine. Over all I still like this suppressor. Cleaning it is very easy.

    super cool suppressor

I looked at the other options out there for several months. This was my first pistol can. My buddies had a few others from different companies but I bought this one based on the price point and some online reviews I had read. Waiting for it sucked! But I finally got it and wow. Quieter to me than my friends cans. I think mine has the new baffles. Quality and fit/finish is amazing. You can tell Griffin cares about their product. Will be buying a paladin next!
