The Griffin MK2 rifle series builds on the features of the MK1 by improving the foundation of the rifle; its lower receiver. The Griffin MK2 fully-ambidextrous lower receiver is manufactured using state-of-the-art aerospace manufacturing techniques to derive sub-mil-spec tolerances and unparalleled quality. Front to back Griffin rifles leave no stone unturned.

All control features are mirrored affording full-ambidextrous functionality, using intellectual property developed by Griffin Armament circa 2013.

The MK2 PSR 9.5" .300 Blackout Pistol features a tuned pistol-length gas system and suppressor optimized buffer system ensuring a soft yet reliable gas system suppressed or unsuppressed. The 416R SS barrel provides exceptional accuracy and durability. We ran one of these barrels to 47,000 rounds 100% suppressed while test firing suppressors with zero baffle strikes and the rifling was still present. The barrel was retired due to extension lug wear, not due to barrel rifling wear. Other case studies such as multiple M24 SWS barrels holding 0.35 MOA to 20,000+ rounds in army testing, provides further evidence that 416R SS is an extremely durable barrel material.

Terra Brown Anodized Color Note: While we strive for consistency in the color of the components making up these rifles, there are some inherent differences in final color outcome that are out of our control due to the anodizing process which depend on many process parameters such as material alloy (6061 (Rails, optic mounts) 7075 (upper/lower receivers, charging handles, receiver extensions), material heat/lot, material process (extrusion, forging, impact extrusion, etc), material condition raw or machined/cut, anodizing water process temperature, acid etch time, rinse speed and time, dye concentration, anodize time, current intensity, blasting media condition, blasting angle variation, etc.  This is well known at this point among consumers in the industry with "fifty shades of FDE" colloquialisms describing the variations in color possible in anodizing of colors lighter than black.  The rifle you receive may be a somewhat different color than what is pictured due to these aforementioned variables in the electro-chemical process. Additionally, small cosmetic imperfections usually hidden by the black anodizing process are more easily seen due to the lighter pigment of the Terra Brown dye. Because these issues are inherent to the process, slight cosmetic imperfections may not be pulled from inventory and marked as a blem. This is a risk of purchasing a non-black product and should be expected to a degree. We will not sacrifice the functional performance of our products, and any issue that affects performance will not be sold. Anodizing fortunately doesn't have the level of increased cost premium associated with the intensive labor involved in painting rifles (something we simply don't have the available labor pool locally to support, nor do we believe the customers want to pay the premium for), so color being possible in that atmosphere at no additional cost is a major process benefit of anodizing. If the above mentioned conditions are unacceptable to you, we encourage you to purchase black anodized parts.

    Amazing rifle

Published by Steven Branyon on 15th Feb 2025

This is my favorite rifle now. I will start with the trigger. The trigger has a tiny amount of take up. About 1 or 2mm. It breaks smoothly at 4.5 pounds. It's so smooth I don't see the need to replace it with a geisely. The recoil is not much with the GA buffer and is very manageable. I have this rifle paired with a GA Dul-lok HRT 7.62 silencer. This rife is quite. Compared to similar rifles with a dead air can. This set up is slightly quieter. I manly only shoot SUBs. But it works great with both supers and subs. I have had a few FTF with Hornady Sub-X not much. The shortness of the case is not ideal for m4 feed ramps. Anyother cartridge works fine. The bronze coat looks awesome. There was a little paint scratch. On the inside of the lower around the front of the take down pin. No big deal to me. The accuracy is extremely dead on. Unfortunately I don't have a exact MOA to brag about yet. I been working on getting quieter. To sum everything up. You are getting a rifle just as good as Daniel defense. GA really puts in the quality.
