    My favorite 16" Gun

Published by Taylor on 8th Aug 2023

Built this up exactly as the Rifle's name intended - a suppressed 16in gun with a 1-8 lpvo. This thing is fantastic. My safety selector screw was loose out of the box but that was a quick fix. I have zero complaints with this rifle. The suppressed tuned gas system really is what it says it is...especially with an OSS can. Buy it.

    MKII Recce

One of the best rifles I've ever shot straight out of the box. Pros -The recoil is unbelievable. Pushes the recoil straight back so there's almost no vertical rise. - The trigger is very nice. It feels like mil-spec, but without all the travel of a standard M-4 trigger. - The freefloat rail system is rock solid and comfortable hold with either a standard or c-clamp grip. - Back up irons are reliable and take up little space. I zeroed with them out of the box, 2 years and 1500rds later they're still spot on. Cons -The pistol grip. It does it's job, but if you run it without gloves, it's very awkward feeling. Not a con, but something to note -If you're going for accuracy, grab 62gr or heavier ammo. The 1-7 twist in these barrels are very picky. Good 62gr will get you submoa pretty easily. Factory 62gr will get you between 1-1.5 depending on manufacturer. 55gr performance massively decreases to 2-3 moa.
