The Griffin Armament Rail-Shield 4 piece M-LOK Compatible furniture kit is the first serious hard use furniture set to reach the market. Unlike other systems relying on plastic snap on attachment, the Rail-Shield furniture kit uses grade 5 fasteners for solid attachment. Rail shield panels protect the shooters support hand from direct exposure to hot rails, as well as insulate during handling in extreme cold weather. The optional handstop bottom panel provides ergonomic enhancement and recoil control. Texturized surfaces do not drag on gear, or cause discomfort but promote positive control of the firearm.

I’ve come to love Griffin’s furniture. It’s well made, stout and still lightweight. The stop makes for either a great stop for your hand or a barrier, depending on how you want to orient it. The pattern is not aggressive or abrasive but still gives you excellent grip. It’s simple and allows easy clean-up if you get sand, dirt, mud or whatever in it. Once installed these panels are also very low-profile so don’t add a lot of bulk to your handguard.
These are great simple grips, however they will not fit on short pistol lowers. I was able to fabricate them in order to fit, but wish they had a smaller size same exact product. These measure 4 11/16” exactly!

Great looking shield. I've attached the OD green shield on the black Geissele handguard of my AR pistol, and now I don't have to grab the cold metal at least at the beginning of the shooting. I very much just enjoy grabbing this shield. I've installed the piece with the finger stopper the other way around (opposite of the regular installation direction) so that the stopper is placed between my index finger and the middle finger when grabbing the front of the pistol.
I really like the look of these on my 12.5 inch pistol. Good value when compared to similar products as the hand stop is built in. Rails are about hand width. Gave 4 stars instead of 5 as I can see an area where the where the molding was snapped off. Has no effect on the product, it is just an unfinished area. Would not hesitate to buy again though.
