The Griffin Armament Rail-Shield 4 piece M-LOK Compatible furniture kit is the first serious hard use furniture set to reach the market. Unlike other systems relying on plastic snap on attachment, the Rail-Shield furniture kit uses grade 5 fasteners for solid attachment. Rail shield panels protect the shooters support hand from direct exposure to hot rails, as well as insulate during handling in extreme cold weather. The optional handstop bottom panel provides ergonomic enhancement and recoil control. Texturized surfaces do not drag on gear, or cause discomfort but promote positive control of the firearm.
Includes mounting hardware, 2 contour side panels, 1 handstop bottom panel, and one alternate flat bottom panel.
Mounted weight is 2.4 ounces, total weight with the optional flat panel and handstop (one of which is mounted in the used configuration) is 3.1 ounces

I bought a set of these years ago for my AR, and decided to get another set to go on my new FPC and I couldn't be happier with it. Really completes the look of my rifle and gives me a more rugged surface to hold while firing. They are a subtle but worthwhile upgrade to any rifle/platform. Love them!
These rail covers are awesome for the money, can’t go wrong.
Nice texture and very rigid. Definitely helped with heat, especially with long range days. The shape is very comfortable as well. Overall very pleased with these and I have gone through other brands but found these to be my favorite. Doesn't hurt that they look great too.

I purchased two sets in order to provide heat shielding for two Ruger AR556 pistols. These shields accomplish this task very well with wide covering and a pleasant texture. The texture is closer to a polymer than rubber or silicone. As a fitment note: The stock hand guards for the Ruger AR pistols have four m-lok slots running down the 6 o'clock position. The Griffen Shield mounting points span three slots. The position of the mounts could put them at either the forward position in the first slot and the rearward position in the third slot; the rearward position in the first slot and the forward position in the fourth slot; or the forward position in the second slot and the rearward position in the fourth slot. The bottom of the gas block housing on the Ruger AR pistol, however causes interference with the forward m-lok mount limiting the position options to full forward or full rearward.
When you have a metal hand guard and the temperature is hot to begin with you need this. If you are doing anything like faster shooting you will need these to keep the heat from the guards making it impossible to hold onto. Even gloves will get hot under many conditions. The little extra thickness to the hand guards is nice as well. Good product, recommend highly.
I bought the griffin armament 4 piece rail shield to use with my ptr 9c. They are the perfect length and fit nicely on the ptr 9c's mlok rail. Quality product, would recommend.
Threw these bad boys on my 300 Blk pistol. Great fit, great product, great feel on my bear paws. Would be rated a 6 if they had fastest for each panel. But that’s nothing a quick trip to the local Ace didn’t solve. Will absolutely buy more. Keep up the good work! -AC
These rail covers actually improve ergonomics unlike others that are made for aesthetics. Solid construction, definitely recommend.
