A2 buffer system
When combined with the snch charging handle there is a noticeable reduction to gas making it to the face
This package includes the heavy Griffin AR-SOB A2 length buffer, Griffin AR-10/”GA A2” 7075-T6 Maritime Receiver Extension, (Similar to industry A5 Length), corresponding AR-15 / M16A2 rifle length 17-7 wire spring, QD Contour Connect End Plate, and castle nut. All these parts will complete the back end of your lower receiver.
This kit is applicable to AR-15 pattern firearms in 5.56 NATO and similar calibers, and is compatible with Mil-Spec dimensioned butt-stocks. This kit should not be used in conjunction with a standard “CAR” length buffer. The use of a shortened buffer in this special kit will allow the bolt carrier key to collide with the receiver and can damage the rifle.

Best A5 system I’ve tried. Even the carbine length system competed with the VLTOR system in terms of reduced bolt speed in automatic (tested at Trajectory Arms). The reason for 4 stars is because of the end plate being made out of too hard a steel to stake comparatively to a TDP plate. Even for the 1 star missing, do not hesitate to buy, even if you might have to get another end plate if you want to stake according to the TM.
For the past 6 months or so I’ve been gathering parts for an all Griffin Armament dream build… Thought I’d try their “A5” SOB buffer system and I’m glad I did… Even though this build has only had 300-400 rounds through it I’m already a believer in their buffer system…Smooooth operation, front sight stays on target better and no “twang” from the buffer system… Now at first glance it looks expensive however if you add up all the individual pieces you would use in a regular build it’s not pricey at all… Fortunately I only shoot suppressed and from now on ALL my builds will have the Griffin Armament Maritime A5 system…THANK YOU Austin and Evan…
