As of yet I’ve not had the opportunity to shoot the 48 with the Griffin Armament barrel but the fit and finish on this barrel is outstanding and I do have a Glock 19 with a griffin Armament barrel Threaded barrel it is beautiful and shoots great

I was hesitant that such a small comp would really provide any noticeable difference in felt recoil. This product seemed gimmicky but I took a leap of faith based on Griffin Armament's reputation and was pleasantly surprised. I shot this barrel and comp then swapped back to the factory barrel and there was an immediate difference. I'd say it felt like this barrel and comp provided a 25% decrease in felt recoil which was far better than I ever would have expected! Well done Griffin Armament
I finally took my G48 to the range and shot around 600 rounds of plinking and defensive rounds, both suppressed and with the micro carry comp attached. Both FMJ and HP rounds fed reliably both suppressed and not. Since this is my carry pistol, I was worried that it would malfunction with the new barrel. I shot 158gn, 147gn, 124gn, and 115gn FMJ rounds suppressed and unsuppressed with no malfunctions. I shot about 150 124gn rounds of Federal HST's unsuppressed and with the comp attached with no malfunctions either. The barrel just works. Accuracy variations on quick follow up shots with and without the comp was impressive. Once I got used to the comp attached, my groups tightened considerably. Like I said, it just works.
