New Silensor owner ? Stuck Hot Silensor Removal ? You Need This!

    Published by B C R on 6th May 2024

After purchasing my very 1st Silensor ( PSR7) for my ARs 308 & 556, i read the listed recomendations on the accesory list and purchased 1 of each. Upon arrival with very fast shipping, I took each item to my FFL / Gun Armorer to instruct me on it uses for when needed. Sometimes the Silenersor freezes on the muzzle device, either due to heat, or anti seize not being used. Sometimes the Heat , Dirt, Ice Rain Will cause the Daul Lock To get stuck or Frozen. Griffin planned for Hard Use on the Silemsor and to Back up its Warrenty , it even went as far as to make this tool. This tool will fit snugly on the tip of the Silensor and help you twist or turn the Silensor off of the Daul Locking mechanism andhelp un-stick or Un-freeze it. Aways recommend a good lube, brushing and cleaning to ensure dirt and debre is removed, but even then, this will give you the right amount of grip on a heated silensor to turn and unlock the daul lock gate. A MUST HAVE 24/7 n your range bag AT ALL TIMES. No regrets- No Burnt hands- especially for us rookies! They though of everything!
