NOTE: If intending to run one of our silencers on these flash hiders in a military surplus thread pitch (14x1mm LH (AK) , 15x1mm RH (HK), 9/16x24 LH (metric FAL) a professional gunsmith is necessary to test install and check alignment with the silencer. Many surplus barrels have bad thread work from the factory. Gunsmith service may be required to the barrel in order to achieve proper alignment and in some cases the firearm may not be able to be modified for proper fitment.
I bought this for an older Springfield M1A. The mount itself works flawlessly, but the factory threads on the weapon are off just enough to contact the end cap with the alignment rod, NOT THE MUZZLE DEVICES FAULT. Thankfully, the bushwhacker is forgiving and I simply use the 46 cal end cap. So far so good.
