Griffin Armament Thread Protector for Taper Mount muzzle devices only. Not for use with M4SD or 30SD (SDQD Muzzle Devices) These are not required for operation, but some consider them nice to have. Suppressor mounts included with suppressors do not include thread protectors.

Better in fact. Lightweight, super crisp machining, perfect texture and color match to palladin taper mounts. I use anti seize on these as well as my Xplrr.

A bit spendy for what it is, but is protects the threads on Taper/Plan A muzzle devices.

This thread protector is a great item to have for those who don't have a can. Just be careful not to put it too tight if so you will not be able to get it off.
I ordered two for different muzzle devices and the tolerances are perfection. Save those threads and get yourself a couple.
