24x1.5mm thread adapter

Griffin Armament 24mm x 1.5mm thread adapters give your compatible AK platforms 1/2x28 or 5/8x24 threads. These aren't hardware store grade adapters. We analyzed dimensions from several eastern European countries to design 17-4 billet machined adapters capable of rendering AK's suppressor and mount compatible with devices requiring alignment and timing like brakes and compensators. These adapters feature a raised surface that interacts with the muzzle face of the barrel rather than the front sight base, permitting vastly superior theoretical alignment accuracy than the detented and loose, rattle-trap devices common to these systems. For rifles that have clean muzzle faces that are perpendicular to the bore, this will permit excellent alignment to occur. We recommend 50ft lbs of torque for installation, and qualified gunsmith installation and alignment checks prior to suppressor use. 27mm wrench flats are provided for ease of installation.
1/2x28 units are compatible with 5.45 and 5.56mm 24mm AK's, while 5/8x24 units are 7.62x39 and lesser caliber compatible. It is the buyers responsibility to know the thread pitch of their AK type rifle/pistol.

I was a little hesitant to see if this adapter would work on my psa ak-p but it lined up perfectly to allow me to put my deadair keymo brake on it

I picked this up to see if I would be able to use it for my PSAK 104. I was able to mount with my SiCo 3 chamber brake and Omega 300. The alignment is great and looks and works fantastically.
Fit and finish looks good, bought it for my psa ak104. Haven't had a chance to use it on a suppressor yet and see if The barrel is concentric, but I have my flash hider mounted to it which threads are great. Just waiting on the suppressor
Great product and excellent customer service
The unit is machined and coated perfectly. It fit right onto my Russian AK-74 and also interfaced perfectly with my suppressor. I would suggest lengthening the female end and notch it so it can actually be held by the sight base detent to prevent backing-off.
High quality adapter
Part fit my KUSA K-103 rifle perfectly. Mated my SIG direct thread Ti suppressor to rifle and everything was concentric and free drop rod had no issues. Wrench tightened with torque sensitive elbow and installed suppressor. Rifle was nice to shoot, a little gassy, no issues at all with adapter. Highly recommend for AK’s with the fat muzzle.
